CBS's freshman hit THE MENTALIST holds steady with over 18 million viewers, airing opposite season premiere of FOX juggernaut American Idol, according to Nielsen final live plus same day ratings for Tuesday, Jan. 13.
THE MENTALIST was second in households (11/16), viewers (18.06m) and adults 18-49 (3.8/9).
